Our services support the local community with practical support, information and advice on all aspects of living with a disability.

Help completing benefit forms

Benefit forms are complicated. We offer a free service to help complete your disability benefit forms. The type of benefits available include:

Applying for and getting disability benefits allows you to access other support such as:

If you are working, you can apply for Access to Work funding for equipment or support you need to maintain work.

If you are on a low income, you may be able to claim Universal Credit.

VAT relief

If you are disabled, you do not pay VAT on certain goods or services designed or adapted for a disability e.g stair lifts or wheelchairs
