Caldecotte Xperience offers a variety of adventure activities and learning experiences for young people and adults aged from 8 to 80 years old. Some activities available include:

MK Sailability is based at Caldecotte Lake South and is part of the Milton Keynes Sailing Club (MKSC). It has been in existence for 20 years and is affiliated to the Royal Yachting Association (RYA).
MK Sailability aims to help disabled people access the sport of sailing by giving them experience of feeling the freedom and pleasure of being in control of a boat on the water, and by instructing people to acquire the skills to handle a boat competently and later to gain a RYA qualification. If members reach a high enough standard, they may be able to enter sailing regattas.
The group meet twice a month from April to October, please call for times.

Disability Snowsport UK (DSUK) instructors and volunteers have helped thousands of individuals of all ages, and with a variety of disabilities including spinal injuries, amputation, sensory impairments, learning difficulties, and physical disabilities, to experience enjoyment from participating in skiing, snowboarding, and other snowsports. The specialist equipment held by DSUK enables everyone to take part.
Lessons are delivered at the Snozone, Xscape throughout the year. There is also a recreational DSUK club that meets monthly at Snozone – dates are available on the Milton Keynes Facebook page. Normally the 2nd Sunday between 4pm – 6pm at Snozone.

Milton Keynes has a long running and very successful Walking Group whose volunteers run a programme of two different walk lengths:
Long – These walks are normally about 3-4 miles long and take place each month at the weekend. A programme of walks is arranged in advance.
Short – The shorter walks last about an hour. The walks run on a weekend each month during the summer season (March – October)
Transport and a sighted guide are provided to members who would like one.

There is an annual membership fee and a small charge per session; helpers or carers accompanying a disabled person may go free of charge. MK Community Cardio-Pulmonary Group offers exercise and relaxation classes and a support group for people who have had heart problems and/or COPD. They also fundraise as a charitable group.
Members of the Group attend one of the sessions of exercise and relaxation held each week. The 2-hour sessions are currently on Monday to Thursday during the day and on Tuesday and Thursday evenings. Membership costs £322 -£350 per year or £80.50 – £87.50 per quarter (correct in 2024).
They have a room containing a range of rowing machines, exercise bikes, treadmills, cross trainers and so on. There is aerobics on a sprung-wooden exercise floor in the main Hall. Most sessions are run by a health professional and by a fully-qualified exercise instructor, plus a trained team of volunteer helpers (many of whom have had heart problems themselves).
Sessions start with warm-up exercises, then move into the main period of exercise (equipment, circuits or aerobics), followed by muscle strengthening exercises and active cool-down. Then there’s a relaxation period which gives you important practice at unwind with a well-earned cup of tea or coffee and a chance to chat with others who’ve been through a similar experience to you.
It’s not all work! In addition to the weekly sessions there’s a regular programme of social events throughout the year which include coffee mornings, quiz nights, outings and a New Year Dance.

This is an independent charity with a strong affiliation to Milton Keynes Dons. They aim to provide or assist in the provision of facilities and other leisure time occupation. They also aim to relieve sickness and disability to preserve and protect health.

Willen Lake has a North Lake which is home to a rich variety of wildfowl (geese, ducks, and swans), whilst the South Lake is a local centre for water sports and family activities, including a well-equipped play area, trim trail equipment around the lake, the mini-bowl for events, mini-golf, an adventure ropes course, and a miniature railway. Paths are generally good, wide, and firm, with all-weather surface, but some shallow gradients. Not all activities are operated by Willen Lake such as the Aqua Parks and restaurants – please contact facilities directly.

The water park is a 400+ metre-long course with over 30 obstacles split into three different sections. Each section offers a unique experience. The park is not open during the winter period.
The age requirements are:
- guests need to be at least 6 years old to participate on the park and must be able to swim 25m unaided.
- guests under the age of 18 need to have an adult complete the waiver form and check them in at reception on the day of their session.
- children between the ages of 6-7 must be accompanied on the park by an adult, and there should be at least one adult for every three children.

The Parks Trust is an independent charity that cares for many of Milton Keynes’ parks and green spaces. The Trust organises around 200 events in the parks each year such as guided nature walks, sponsored fun runs, monthly events for tiny tots, discovery cycle rides, storytelling, orienteering and music festivals. It offers a chance to enjoy the fresh air, learn a new skill, make new friends, and discover new outdoor spaces.
The majority of activities take place outdoors, so appropriate clothing should be worn.
