COVID-19 Outbreak Prevention: Identifying places and services where there may be higher risk
The government has asked all local areas to form Outbreak Prevention Groups and develop an Outbreak Prevention Plan. MK Council are asking if you think there are places and areas in MK that they might want to consider as being a priority in their outbreak prevention plan.
Criteria – Places or services where all three criteria are met: 
-Places where people gather and dwell, especially for over 15 minutes.
-Places where social distancing is difficult because of the design/physical environment.
-Places or services used extensively by local people who are more vulnerable.Please email any thoughts using the attached form to by Thursday 18 June.
Help us ask the Government for urgent help
We have sent a joint letter to the Chancellor of the Exchequer, Rushi Sunak, to urge him to speed up and increase the provision for the charity sector. Please read the letter below, share it with your local MP and ask them to lobby the Chancellor on our behalf. See the letter here

The Coronavirus Job Retention Scheme (CJRS) is changing: from 1 July employers can bring previously furloughed employees back to work, while still being able to claim the CJRS grant for their normal hours not worked.

NHS Volunteer Responders service is open for self referral. Further information about the self referral process and who is eligible for support is available here. This site will provide you with further information if you are self-isolating and are in need of support.

NHS volunteers extend support to frontline health and social care staff

NHS Volunteer Responders scheme expanded to offer vital support to frontline health and social care staff. Over 285,000 volunteer tasks have been carried out so far, helping people from across the community with tasks like delivering shopping and speaking on the phone. Read more
